Webafrica - Openserve

My wifi is with webafrica and service provider is openserve. I have been noticing a group of kids in a nearby vicinity and was informed by a neighbor that they are connected to my wifi. I then proceed to contact webafrica which in itself is a struggle to eventually get hold of anyone. I proceed to request a password change i was informed it was done, mind you it was not. I then again need to contact them only you be informed that Openserve has an outage - but my wifi is fine - and the password cannot be changed. I have donwloanded the webafrica and openserve app neither allows you to change your password. So now I am forced to be without my wifi and switch if off so that no one else can use it. As I am typing this 10 people are connected and my ISP is doing nothing.

Hi  Gretchen,
Thank you for taking the time to explain what you’re experiencing. We understand how concerning and frustrating it is to feel that your WiFi security has been compromised, especially after trying to get assistance and being left without a clear resolution. Being forced to switch off your connection to prevent unauthorised access is certainly not the experience we want for you.
We’d like to help resolve this for you. Please send us a private message on Hello Peter with a new WiFi password that is at least 8 characters long, and we’ll attempt to change it for you remotely. This will allow us to secure your connection as quickly as possible while we assist further.
Your feedback regarding the difficulty in reaching support, the password change process, and the app limitations has been noted and will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement, as these are important concerns around security and customer experience.
Once you’ve sent us the private message with the new password, we’ll do our best to assist you from there.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Reviewer Update
So after sending my password I have not heard any further communication from Webafrica. And FYI my fibre is still off and today I need to again use my money to buy data bundles instead of using my WiFi which I pay for.
