WEBAFRICA NOW A DISASTER AREA
Until recently I have had no problems with Webafrica but this last purchase - a swap from a rain to LTE wifi has been a disaster. Firstly the router arrived without the sim card and miraculously the new sim which I never received, managed to be activated. I spent from beginning of June 2020 on the Customer Queries trying to get a response and what nearly blew my mind was that I would get an email telling me that they could see that my query had not been attended to and that my query had been resolved ALL IN THE SAME EMAIL. I kid you not!!! Have you ever. You then have the most wonderful opportunity to chat on whatsapp to a bot that drives you insane enough to make you swear at it and then it gets upset because it circuits hurt. Well, not as much as if I got my hands on it. After spending close on 3 months trying to get a sim card through these 2 channels, I eventually cancelled the contract as I was pretty worn out by then and had come to the conclusion somebody else (most likely within Webafrica) had my sim card and was having free wifi that I was paying for as there was absolutely no will to assist me. The contract expires end Sept and in terms of their contract I must return the router within 20 days after the end of Sept. On 31 Aug my account was debited for the router. So much for 20 days after 30 Sept? So if you want to get wifi through Webafica - you are warned. It is not the same Webafrica. Things have gone badly south there!!!!!
