Webafrica - most useless ISP in Africa

I wish there was lower than a 1 star. The Webafrica service team has got to be the worst in the country, possibly Africa. You can only contact them via whatasapp, they take forever and a day to reply. At the end of August 2022, I informed them that I would be moving house at end of October 2022. They confirmed that the new address was good to go for their service and advised that at the end of October they will terminate service to the current address and migrate to the new one. Happy days! on 30 September, my internet is down, I contact their customer service (only via whatsapp) only to be told my service has been cancelled. Long back and forth as they tried telling me I requested it, fortunately I had a chat history to prove I only wanted the service moved end of October (whatsapp worked against Webafrica). So I was promised connection within 48hrs, after that time elapsed, nothing. On the 3rd of October I'm contacted by an agent telephonically wanting to arrange installation at my new address. I quickly brought him up to speed and he cancelled that instruction and said he will arrange immediate reactivation within 48hrs. Then came the 5th of October, still no service, WebAfrica now says it's Vumatel, Vumatel contacts me, asks if there is something wrong with my fibre box, they send a technician out who confirms nothing is wrong with the box. I'm told by Vumatel that it's now sitting with my ISP. I contact WebAfrica, who tells me to wait another 48hrs. it's not the 8th today, I contact them this morning, tell them to rather leave everything because I'm beyond disappointed and guess what...I'm asked to give them a chance and another 48hrs to reconnect. As I explained to the multiple agents that I've interacted with, I work from home (in Cape Town) for a JHB based company. Do you understand how essential it is to have active internet. I've depended on buying expensive mobile data this week just to be able to work. Since Vodacom rescued me with their mobile data, I have now decided to rather make use of their fibre service - which is R150 less than the package I was on with WebAfrica. For anyone considering WebAfrica as an ISP - don't, it's not worth it. I haven't even posted about the previous service disruptions I've experienced with Webafrica. but this is the last straw. I'm not someone to easily post negative experiences, but I had to with this one since it's a negative experience that lasted more than 7 days and incurred me much unnecessary cost.
