WEBAFRICA - MONEY *******!
Good day. This is final message that I am sending before approaching the Ombudsman, and media. You have reassured that the refund was processed on Monday. We have just contacted your billing department, only to be advised that there were AGAIN problems with the refund and that it was only put through yesterday. To recap on this very ******* operation that you are running:
1. Your *********** staff member sent us a new router where we didn't require one, and debited our account. We gave no authorization for roughly R1700 to be deducted.
2. We had to first send the router back and wait for a credit note to be generated
3. Another *********** agent took down the FNB account number incorrectly and APPARENTLY tried doing the refund into this account - it kept bouncing as the account number did not exist. NOT ONCE DID SOMEONE HAVE THE DECENCY to contact us to advise why there was a delay and to get the correct details.
4. We spoke to a Cecil - and EMAILED him the correct banking details and a screenshot from his FNB banking app. We were reassured it was updated. We still hadn't received the funds last week. 5. Tried calling your atrocious call centre to get through to billing - as usual, we spent about R100 on phonecalls, with no avail. I resorted to your whatsapp live chat with a Wongalethu. He confirmed that Cecil did NOT update account number. I sent all the relevant information and he assured me it was updated and would pay last Friday....furthermore, he advised that Cecil would be reported to a manager.
6. It is now THURSDAY.... should the monies not reflect in our account tomorrow, I am reporting this as per the CPA for ******* activities.
7. We have been patient enough in this regard. You have ****** money *******ly, gained interest on MY money and still are reluctant to have this amended. In view of the above-mentioned, it is safe to say that I have every right to have this reported. I require that a manager call me OR the funds to REFLECT tomorrow in the FNB account. Failure to comprehend and adhere to my consumer rights will result in legal action.
Perhaps you have a legal advisor for your company that can contact me - if I am not satisfied by midday today, this is going to be publicized. Furthermore, I will also hold you accountable for the almost R400 spent on phonecalls to your pathetic call centre.
