Webafrica is The WORST, would never recommend

Web Africa Vuma fibre had the worse customer support service, the contact number does not go through and their chat service is absolute nightmare. make me understand what kind of client care makes a client chat for 3 hours with the agent taking +-30 minutes to respond with just one word answers without assisting then proceeds to transfer you 3 times. To be more precise The Agent Sanelisiwe and others we not helpful at all and proceeded to transfer my chat back to Que, when all I needed was to change my plan!!!

Hi Kutloano. We hear how frustrating this experience has been, especially when something as simple as changing your plan turned into hours of waiting, slow responses, repeated transfers, and no clear resolution. That kind of support experience, particularly when you’re trying to manage your service efficiently, understandably feels exhausting and unproductive. We note your feedback regarding the interaction with the chat agents, including long response gaps and being moved back into the queue instead of receiving a direct resolution. That experience will be reviewed internally so we can address consistency and responsiveness in support handling.

If you still need assistance with the plan change, the fastest path forward is:
 • Log into Customer Zone (https://my.webafrica.co.za/ )  → My Services → All Services
 • Select your Vuma fibre service
 • Choose “Change Product” and follow the upgrade/downgrade flow you outlined
 • Confirm the change to trigger processing

Important Notes:
  • Upgrades are activated immediately.
  • Downgrades (where the new package is cheaper) require a calendar month’s notice.
  • The activation date depends on the type of internet service you have.

If you experience any blockage again during the process, please share your account details via private message so we can step in directly and complete the change without further delays or queue transfers. We want to ensure this is resolved properly for you, without more back-and-forth or time lost in chat queues.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Hi Kutloano,

We see that an urgent activation request was logged for the Vuma Reach service linked to an address in Alexandra. We have logged a follow-up and requested that the Activations team email you with an activation status update ASAP.

Can you help me understand the type of service you guys are providing, You have now removed my 2nd review, 2 months later I am still not assisted. You have sent me a payment link 2 weeks back that i paid immediatley and still my line is not active. Today i received another email stating that i have an outstanding payment.. how? worse now I am unable to connect to any of your agents or customer care How? I have taken proof of all our conversations and will escalate further because why is no one assisting or reaching out? this is absurd.
