WebAfrica is a no no no, dont go there.
If I could minus star review WebAfrica I would. On 7 March 2023 I called and got connected to Fazlin. I told her I am on an Openserve fibre and have endless issues with drop in service. She advised they are on Vumatel vibre at R639 per month. We did the telephonic onboarding. She sent the debit order form which I sent back within an hour. A week later I called to enquire on the router delivery. I had to call the courier company as well to enquire on delivery. They could not get hold of me as a 087 nr was listed on the waybill iso of my 076 cell nr. The plug and play was not that easy! We have an Openserve fibre line remember. Fazlin knew that! She did not arrange for the Vumatel line to be pulled into our home! From 14 to 21 March I got the run around and one can actually not talk to a person, but you have to chat via the chat box. Eventually I got so fed up and cancelled our WebAfrica subscription. I even got an invoice on 25 March for the pro rata service for March and the amount due for April. On 28 March I emailed WebAfrica to ensure they cancell the debit order due on ***3. I had a call from one of the quality controll staff and explained exactly why I will not deal with WebAfrica. Yes, as I expected, the debit order was launched and the funds deducted!. Now everyday I am told I need to wait 5 to 7 working days for my refund. I have another wifi company I must pay!. And if our line is disconnected, a reconnection fee must be paid!! A cost I will hold WebAfrica responsible for!!! I will possibly havr to write another review on that as well. When I told Fazlin on Monday I dont care if the CEO is going to refund me, and I want my money TODAY she advised that was not going to happen. I made made it clear to WebAfrica that I will write a review if my funds are not refunded by 4 April... So here I am ... Writing the review. My advise, dont sign up for endless problems and bad service.
