Webafrica is a ****!!!!

This is the worst company to choose as a wifi service provider!! I took up a month to month contract with them in February this year 2025 for my mother back home in Stanger. They delivered the router via courier. They didn’t have to do any physical connection at the house as we already had the infrastructure installed by our previous wifi service provider. They failed to successfully onboard my mother, the wifi never worked a single minute! It was “connected without internet” through out. They charged me the monthly fee, which I paid hoping their internet will work but it never did work for over a full month. I then cancelled the contract with them as I was not getting the service I was paying for. I sent back their router.

To my surprise, they said they are charging me R999 cancellation fee, I asked them what was that for because they didn’t install ANYTHING at my mom’s house as we already had installed infrastructure and I only cancelled because they failed to successfully onboard us! They couldn’t answer me. I sent countless messages on their WhatsApp number and I was transferred from agent to agent because none of them could help me and they all insisted I had to pay the cancellation fee. I sent emails and they couldn’t assist me. Then they deducted this R999 via a debit order. So I paid this R999 PLUS a fee of R754.71 (R1753.71 in total) that I paid for the internet that never worked a single day!! I requested a refund and they didn’t refund me!! I feel ****med by this company. They shouldn’t be allowed to trade!!!
