Webafrica increased my tarriffs two times within the first 6 months of the contract
Webafrica increased my tarriffs two times within the first 6 months of the contract. It feels so wrong and I felt ambushed. Very poor connection speed. It goes as slow as 5mbps. I work from home mostly, however, this has caused me to travel to the office. Extra costs. This is so confusing because I use a cable line. As is, am not happy with the service that I pay R550pm for. I am looking at cancelling this thing.

We completely understand how frustrating and disappointing it must be to experience unexpected tariff increases twice within the first six months of your contract, especially when combined with slower-than-expected internet speeds. Having to deal with unreliable service while working from home and incurring extra costs to travel to the office can be very stressful, and we truly appreciate you sharing your experience with us. Your concerns are valid, and we want to ensure you have the best possible service for the amount you’re paying.
At this time, we don’t see any visible issues on your line or account; however, we’ve arranged for a port reset to refresh your line. When you are home, please restart both your router and Openserve ONT, then monitor and test the connection. When testing with a device connected by Ethernet cable, ensure that nothing else is running or downloading and that all other devices are disconnected. This will provide accurate results and help ensure that devices on your network are not affecting the speed.
If you still require assistance after testing, please send us a direct message on Hello Peter with your most recent speed test results, and we’ll be happy to take a closer look and assist further.
Kind regards,
Webafrica Team
