webafrica incorrect billing, and tragic support

For 7 months had good service with Fiber line with Webafrica.

All of a sudden, their data tracking/billing system goes crazy and sucks my account dry.

Technically I have proven the problem on their system. I have setup trace log on my router of with exact MAC address and data access, with no trace of any MAC address consuming data. Ended up having to top up my account a couple of times to prove this, after one topup of 25 GB, WebAfrica reported usage of 168 GB, lol.

Zubair Khan took my call on Monday 26 Feb, promised high and low that he can see the problem and that a case will be opened and resolved on Monday. None of this happend.

On Tuesday 27 Feb I tried again, spoke to Hashiem. After 16 minutes dropped my call.

Tried one more call, but this time cancelled the service. Maybe you will have better luck, but I cannot deal with service like this.

First of all, it is laughable how HelloPeter can consider a copy/paste message from WebAfrica as a 'response' to the issue reported. The shameless copy/paste message coming from WebAfrica of course, is completely expected. I have had to battle with WebAfrica call center 3 calls of 10 to 15 minutes each again today, to get this line cancelled. As it turned out, the previous cancellation that I have requested, and that did show on my account, was not affected by WebAfrica. Your cancellation of 200GB 20mbps fibre (*post 1May2015) from Webafrica has been received. Order number: O ********** 32595 The order will be removed from: xyz, Cape Town Your service will be removed the following date: 3/2/2018 12:00:00 AM Yippee !
