WEBAFRICA - I AM HAPPY TO PAY TO GET RID OF THEM FOREVER

I subscribed on Webafrica for internet through fibre. Their initial installation of the line and router was reasonably prompt, took about 2 weeks. I was sold a 125mbs/125mbs uncapped pacakge. I have complained on numerous occasions thst the maximum download/upload speed is only around 3mbs-5mbs. It is very difficult to get hold of a human being to talk to. They use an online chat AI platform, or a Whatsapp AI. If you manage to get hold of a technician they make you feel stupid, require a million tests and still blame it on your own equiomnt. Eventually you may get a technician dispatched to check the kine. They will then close the ricket and let you know it is resolved, but it is certainly not the case. You will complain and the process will again start, run in circles.

If you wish to cancel, the wahttsapp or live chat simply don't allow you to do so. I managed to get a customer line ***. Upon phoning uou get 2 options; 1) talk to an agent fornnew subscriptions, and 2) any other business. Of you press "2" the line just goes dead. So rather press "1", they always want new business. You can then complain to the agent; they will then let you know that there is no direct line to contact cancellations, but they will send an email request and apparently an agent will phone you within 24 hours.

They also let you know that there is a R999 clawback cancellation fee. Apparently you were informed of this when you subscribed.

So even that they deliver **** service, bull you for a package/service that you don't receive: the customer must still pay a R999 cancellation fee!! It is proposterous to say the least.

I WILL BE SO HAPPY TO PAY THE CANCELLATION FEE TO GET RID OF WEBAFRICA FOREVER
