Webafrica has the worst support

If I could I would give zero stars. Webafrica has the worst support system. You cannot call any agent for support, you have to wait on an agent on WhatsApp who sometimes don’t even respond and just leave the chat open.

I have no connection since the 21st May, and I have to keep messaging to get any feedback everyday, then eventually I hear my ticket was closed by Vumatel but I still have no connection. I got no call no information about the resolution which there was none - as I still have no internet. I went through every step required by the agent, and still could not connect. How long must I wait for a service I am paying for , for you to figure out why my internet is not working. If you saw your WhatsApp support group and the chats I have had with so many agents you will be amazed at how consistent I was in getting this resolved , but no effort on your side, all yourl do is escalate and then don’t care about the outcome or even check in with the paying customer if their service was restored.

All I can say is I am so tired of Webafrica support, and if I wasn’t in a contract I would cancel this service immediately, so unreliable, so many issues with them and just the worst support ever.

Hi Riasha, We understand how frustrating and exhausting this experience has been for you, especially being without internet since 21 May and having to repeatedly follow up without seeing a resolution. Not having consistent communication or a clear outcome after multiple interactions would understandably leave you feeling unheard and frustrated.A fault has now been logged with our faults team and is currently pending investigation with the relevant network provider (Vumatel). This means the issue is being actively reviewed at infrastructure level to determine why the service has not been restored despite previous attempts and troubleshooting. We recognise your concern about the ticket being closed without service restoration and the lack of clear updates. This is not the experience we want for you, and the faults team will be focusing on revalidating the case to ensure it is properly reopened, reassessed, and followed through until your connection is restored. While investigations are underway, the team will be working to confirm the root cause and ensure there are no missed steps on either the network or service side. We appreciate the urgency of your situation and the impact this ongoing outage is having.Thank you for continuing to engage despite the challenges, your feedback has been noted and will form part of the active review of this case.Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Day 8 without internet and still no resolution. I can’t believe how *********** WebAfrica is in addressing this simple issue. Why on earth did I sign up with them.

What a waste of money and time !

Worst service provider ever !

If I dare see a debit order this month I’m going to the ombudsman.

11 days, still no service. But debit order went out on time, well done it seems your accounts department is the best performing team in your organisation.

This is becoming more frustrating by the day. With remote work, how do you expect me to work tomorrow ?

Oh well I will just make my concerns more public the more this prolongs, so that people are not mislead by your dishonest marketing campaigns

Hi Riasha,  We understand how frustrating it is to still be without service after 11 days, especially with the impact on your remote work. Our Faults Team is still actively working with the network provider to resolve the issue, which remains open. We’ve also escalated your billing concern, as the debit order and account activity are being reviewed alongside the outage. We’ll share a clear, consolidated update as soon as feedback is received. Warm regards,

Hi Riasha,  We hear your frustration, and we understand how difficult it is to go 13 days without service while still not receiving clear updates or communication. That’s not the experience we want for any of our customers. We can confirm that this has been raised as an urgent matter with our fault teams, who are actively reviewing your case to restore your connection as soon as possible. They will provide an update on the next steps directly once their assessment is complete. We also acknowledge your concern around the lack of communication during this period. Keeping you informed throughout the process is just as important as resolving the fault itself, and your feedback has been shared with the relevant teams for immediate attention. We appreciate your patience while this is being worked on and remain committed to getting you back online as quickly as possible.

Warm regards,
