Webafrica Great stuff

I give this ISP five stars, even though their prices are not the best, it competes well with others, but their website is really fantastic with information easily available and very useful FAQ's. I really feel in control. You can upgrade and downgrade your packages and even cancel services online. Not that I'm likely to do that right now. Monitoring your date usage is also available as there is a Fair use policy. They are also the first ISP that recognized my area as fiber active and to be honest I reluctantly went with them as their prices were slightly higher than the ISP I was interested in. Once my fiber connection was finalized, they set it up and I was connected within less that 24 hours of installation. Brilliant!

Speeds tested as promised. I had a 50 Mbps up and down installed, tested slightly higher than that almost every time on Ookla and on Mybroadbands new speed test. With a 3m/s ping on Ookla and a 24 m/s ping on Mybroadband. Really worth it and I upgraded my line speed as well. So if you like streaming on Netflix it does Ultra def flawlessly at a constant 11.5 mbps, with no drops in speed. HD is constant a 7 Mbps. Downloading and games for Xbox live or PSN is super fast and online gaming is great. Matchmaking takes a few seconds, we ran Starwars Battlefront 2 and connected to the 40 player game in seconds. I could never find players on my LTE connection. Xbox 360 games didn't want to work on the Xbox one previously, but now it instantly connects to the server and everything is running fast. PSN is slighly slower though, but this is an hard ware issue. I measured the Xbox one running at between 30 Mbps and 50 Mbps and PSN at 15 to 30 Mbps. The Xbox connects to the 5 GHz connection and the Playstation 4 to the 2.5 GHz connection. So this might be the reason for slower download speeds on the PS4.

So I can highly recommend Webafrica especially their website service.
