Webafrica Fix Your Service

While I initially enjoyed stable service for the first two weeks since joining, my connection has been dropping consistently for the past two weeks without any resolution.

I have engaged in countless chats via WhatsApp due to the lack of a direct support number, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. I was even asked to connect to my ONT to configure PPPOE details, which is not a responsibility that should fall on the customer. Despite raising a ticket, I have not received a solution. Instead, Octotel has claimed the line is stable, but it is evident that the fault lies with Webafrica.

And now I’m being told it’s R1000 to cancel my service? This is putrid to say the least.

This level of service is unacceptable. I request that you provide a resolution within the next 48 hours. If this issue is not resolved, I will have no choice but to cancel my service.

Hello Xavier,

We understand how frustrating and disappointing this must be, especially as your service was initially stable but has now been consistently dropping for the past two weeks without a clear resolution. It is also completely understandable that repeated troubleshooting and reliance on WhatsApp support has added to your frustration, particularly when you are still experiencing ongoing interruptions.

We have reviewed your account and can confirm that an urgent escalation has already been placed on your open ticket reference WA***. Our Faults Follow-Up Team has been notified of the urgency and is actively monitoring the situation to ensure it is prioritised accordingly. They will also be providing you with direct updates as soon as feedback is received from the relevant parties.

We appreciate your patience while this is being attended.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
