Webafrica failed from the start
I have signed up for a new fibre deal 27th November for 25Mbs for R499. My line went active on 6th December and I paid the pro rata.
Today I see my invoice bill is R519. I've chatted to Ngcebo Z on the live chat to ask why my bill is R519 and not R499, whereby I was told "You need to understand everything is increasing e.g food also have a price increasing. our product also increase".
Without prior notification of an increase or apology. I then had to ask why I was not informed whereby the agent told me "We apologize for not informing you Mr/Ms, please accept our apology. Next time we will make sure as webafrica we will inform".
I then asked the agent to lodge a formal complaint and was informed "we are still apologize for that but we have nothing to do about it".
This is putrid service from Webafrica for not informing a client about price increase. How am i certain the line won't increase next month again. If i knew this is how clients get dealt with i would've never signed up for business. I would surely not recommend Webafrica by word of mouth or on social media as the business cannot be trusted.
How would you remedy this? or do I as a client just have to accept the price increase from being 1 month with you and expect the next increase whenever the food price increases as per your agent? Awaiting your feedback.
I've sent the above to the complaints dept and still awaiting feedback. After this, they debited my account late and added a penalty to my bill as they felt they will debit my account when they want to.
