WebAfrica committing *****
I recently discovered that WebAfrica has been double debting my account since last year Oct/Nov. The also acknowledged that I have a refund due but never paid it into my account. Since Monday 02/06/2025 after I discovered through my bank(OLD MUTUAL money account) I have been trying to have the double debits resolved. I've emailed their customer support and sales, they are yet to respond. My only solution was to converse with them(WebAfrica) on their Whatsapp platform. Sent them all my latest bank statements only to be told their finance/accounts department will get back to me. This has not materialized as of yet. I've calculated all the double debits and it amounted to R3035. I received numerous messages/emails to say my debit went unpaid/returned. They would then disconnect my wifi service, in one month I paid in R399 to have my line reactivated after receiving such message/email. Only to see that they not only successfully debited double the amount of R399 but also received the payfast amount I made. In total they received R1197 in one month! Not once was I informed or contacted that they notice I'm overpaying. Instead they claim the debits always returned unpaid. I asked my bank for assistance but it's limited, my only way of waking these people up(WebAfrica) was to file a ***** case with SAPS. Hopefully this matter will be resolved and my money refunded. All I can say is that I will never have anything to do with WebAfrica ever again. Please if they are your service provider, get a detailed bank statement and thoroughly check to see how much money they are debting and if it's the correct amount. Thank you to Magdeline who tried, more than the other service agents that actually phoned me back to assist. Pity you are in their employment. Watch out for WebAfrica!
