Webafrica

I signed up for fibre for a second line at home as I have a separate entrance flat at home. I enquired and an agent, Lebogang Mosala, contacted me. He then went on to say they will need to firstly confirm if a line will be available and get back to me. Indeed after some days he came back and advised we are all systems go. We completed the sign up and all that was left was for me to pay R798.99 and my services would be activated and that Vumatel would contact me to complete the process. I made payment on the 27.04 2024. Vumatel contacted me on the 29.04.2024 and it turned out that Lebohang had registered and incorrect address to allow the sale to go through. I then advised of the correct address and only to get feedback that the request for a second line was declined. Which in this case means that Lebogang gave me false information and allowed me to proceed knowing very well that I would be at an inconvenience. I have been told that there is nothing Vumatel can do and that I should request for a refund from the ISP, which is Webafrica in this regard. I have emailed the agent to advise of the progress of the application as I was nit receiving any feedback, he has not responded. I also emailed their sales department to request for a refund and cancelation as I had already set up a debit order that is recurring for the services. I am disappointed that I trusted the service provider to assist as I am meant to be working remotely and am having to commute to work daily up until such time my connection is sorted.

I would like assistance in this regard and most importantly need the refund processed so that I can seek alternative means as soon as possible.

Please assist
