I paid R279 as installation fee, a router was delivered and was told to wait for technician, technician came and it worked for 2 days after the WiFi switched off, been trying to make contact until now with no resolution, a fee of R659 was debited from my account and still I don’t have access to WiFi, I regret signing up with WebAfrica, they have bad service, no call centre only WhatsApp communication with no feedback, the only call going through is for sales and after asking for help with my account and installation they refer me to WhatsApp

We understand how frustrating this has been, especially after paying the installation fee, receiving your router, and then losing your connection after only two days. Having to repeatedly seek assistance while still being without service, particularly after a further debit from your account, is understandably upsetting. We’ve arranged for a Tech Support callback so the team can get in touch with you directly, troubleshoot the connection and assist with the next steps towards getting you back online. We’ll ensure the issue is progressed through the appropriate support channel rather than leaving you to keep going back and forth. We also understand your frustration around the communication experience and the concerns raised about the R659 debit. Our priority now is getting the technical issue properly investigated and moving this towards resolution.Thank you for allowing us to put this right.
Warm regards,

30 Aug 2026, 01:20Good day, unfortunately there seems to be a lack in finding a solution, the technician said that he is fetching his tools in Hatfield and will come afterwards, we wants his R300 cash before he can fix whatever the issue is, mind you my aunt is wheelchair bound hence we needed the WiFi so she can watch series and be able to work from home, now she’s been asked for money on top of what was paid and debited from her account, must we pay bribes to receive a resolution? Am humbly asking for a termination and full refund of all cost incurred seeing that no resolution will ever come forth

We understand how concerning this situation is, particularly given your aunt’s circumstances and the expectation that the installation would be completed without any additional payment being requested. The experience you’ve described is not what we want for you. We’ve updated the line fault with your feedback directly, including the concern raised regarding the technician’s request for R300. The team will follow up with our Openserve partners to investigate this further and continue to keep you updated via SMS directly. We’ve also noted your request for termination and a refund, and the relevant team can review this as part of the investigation. Our priority now is to ensure the fault and your concerns are properly followed up so that you’re not left without clear communication.
Warm regards,
