Web Africa limiting of shared SMTP servers
Hi,

Since about 2 weeks ago our relays are getting rate limited by Web Africa we never had issues with this before and the mails volumes on these relays has more or less always been the same. This issue is not only degrading our service but it is degrading all our clients' service from Web Africa because all their incoming email is being delayed.

We have always punted Web Africa service's to family and other businesses, I must say that I a very disappointed in the way this urgent matter is being attended to.

If a rate limit was to be app**** should this not be done on domain rather than IP? Basically any shared smtp relay is going to have the same issue in the future with Web Africa with the new rate limiting...
Server IP: 217.147.87.66

I can send a log for the email we are trying to deliver to the Web Africa servers we had similar issue with Afrihost who were glad to whitelist our sending server globally on their spam filter.

PLEASE HELP US SORT THIS OUT..
So sorry to hear that you've been struggling like this and for the fact that this matter took longer be resolved.
Our guys have been in touch with you and explained that they've added the mentioned IP address to an exclusion list for Greylisting, therefore, this issue should no longer occur.
We hope that this matter has been resolved and we would like to encourage you to update this post to reflect this resolution offered. But if the issue does persist, please let us know so that we can investigate further.
