Web Africa has cost me over R3000 so far

I signed up for internet with WebAfrica, they handled my DSL LINE and DSL DATA.

I cancelled my account and by the end of June, they had supposedly moved my DSL LINE back to Telkom.

This is where the cat and mouse dynamic begins, because upon signing up for DSL DATA with another ISP (Mweb), Telkom said they don't have my DSL LINE. But they should, right? So I called WebAfrica, and they said Telkom definitely has it, it's just in this new \holding pool"which is a new system.

Telkom: NOPE WE DON'T HAVE IT SORRY.
WebAfrica: NOPE WE DON'T HAVE IT COS WE MOVED IT.
Telkom: NOPE I CHECKED AGAIN AND WE REALLY DON'T HAVE IT
WebAfrica: HERES A REFERENCE NUMBER
Telkom: I CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITH THIS REFERENCE NUMBER

2 hours of holding time"

Hello ThatLucidGuy,

We're can absolutely understand why you're upset because playing the cat and mouse game is no fun at all.

Having said that, your line was moved back to Telkom on the 1st of July because we require a full calendar month cancellation notice. We can understand why you're confused and frustrated with the new Telkom process, but I can assure you that you're line is now with Telkom. If you need further assistance regarding this matter, please call us on *** so we can follow this up with Telkom on your behalf.

We hope that this matter has been resolved to the level of your satisfaction and we would like to encourage you to update this post to reflect this resolution offered.

Regards,
Mkhululi
