Very bad service! stay away from Webafrica and Frogfoot!

Very bad service from Frogfoot and Webafrica. 1. On 31 June 2026 I came to find that my internet services had been terminated. I was then told that my services were terminated on the 18th June 2026. I have been with them since 2018, and just like that, one morning I woke up to no internet connection. No forwarning, no explanation, no apologies. You cannot get to speak to anybody on the phone or in person. It is WhatsApp only communication. And one person politely passes you to another very swiftly, but nobody can help you. 2. I then had to reapply for a new internet connection, though I am still sitting here with my existing router and whatever other square box thing. I was told to pay some R1200.00 or something for reapplication for the new account. Up until this minute I still have no internet.

3. Further today I have been informed that once again my service was terminated. I'm trying to understand what service was terminated this time, because i haven't had a service since June.

4. I gave them a break for 3 weeks because I got tired of talking on WhatsApp to every **** Tom and Harry. And in the meantime, I had been using a Telkom simcard operated modem. How disgusting it is to let your customer have to go through this horrible ordeal. You should feel ashamed of yourselves.

5. Today is the 28th August 2026. Since speaking to the WhatsApp consultant and gaining reassurance of connection within 24 hours, no-one contacted me and i am still struggling with no connection.

Well done Webafrica and Frogfoot. You have really done a great job in providing a service to your customer and I am saying this with as much sarcasm as possible.

Hi Remondy
We can understand why you’re deeply frustrated. Going without a working internet service since June, having to reapply for a connection, being asked to make another payment, and then still receiving conflicting information about your service would be incredibly upsetting. You’ve also had to spend far too much time trying to get answers through WhatsApp, without the follow-through you were expecting.
We’ve reached out to our Support team to review your account history and the concerns you’ve raised. We’ve also asked the team to ensure you receive the appropriate support with the next steps directly, as soon as possible.
We recognise that you’ve already spent weeks trying to get this resolved and that previous assurances of contact and connection have not delivered the outcome you were expecting. We don’t want you having to start from scratch again.
We genuinely appreciate you bringing the full experience to our attention. Your feedback is important, and we’re focused on getting the matter properly reviewed and moving you towards a resolution.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

i've just come off the whatsapp again with your support people. again, they are sending me from pillar to post. can you please get someone to phone me or come to see me in person to sort out this mess which i never created, as soon as possible. there are protection boards for cosumers in this country and i am at my wit's end with your company. on monday i am going to the consumer protection board to lay a complaint because really. this is disgusting. if i were to treat my customers the way you are treating me i would be out of business by now.

I'd like to provide feedback... I received a call on the evening of the 28th from a very good consultant of Webafrica who really tried his best to help me with my problem. He came to discover that I was not signed to Frogfoot but to ThinkSpeed. He further determined that the equipment I currently have will not work with ThinkSpeed as it is frogfoot's router. Therefore, I will be sent new equipment that goes along with my new ThinkSpeed account. Everything sounded promising. I was to receive a call again the following Monday. Monday came and Monday went. As did Tuesday and Wednesday. No phonecall. Then on the Thursday I left the country for work for about a week. I've been back a few days already and I can assure you I have heard nothing further from either Webafrica or ThinkSpeed. I would "Think" that this new network provider would "Speed" things up, but I've lost faith in anyone's ability to help me. Its so sad. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm so dispondent. Y'all have really shown me the meaning of a customer to you.

Hi Remondy,

We understand how disheartening it must be to still be waiting for answers after receiving encouraging feedback and believing that progress was finally being made. After everything you've been through, it's understandable that the lack of communication has left you feeling disappointed and uncertain about what happens next.
We can see that you're still awaiting further feedback regarding the connection. To help move this forward, we've requested that our Provisioning Team urgently follow up on the escalation and provide an update on the current status of the matter. The team has been asked to review the outstanding requirements and communicate further feedback regarding the next steps.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
