*****, uselss, *******, not delivering the spped at all as they rent the fibre line at a lower speed than i am getting charged.
i am paying for 65/65, that is 65mbps download and 65mbps upload, i am getting 45mbps. after 4 days of trying different "things" with that useless whatsapp support, eventually they logged a call for the fibre company to come out, the fibre company showed me and have emailed me that they rent out the fibre to webafrica at 50/50, that is 50mbps, BUT webafrica (a bunch of ******) are charging me for 65mbps..... this is pure *****..... it has been 2 weeks since the fibre company has updated them, and still, my speed is at 45mbps.... watch at the end of the month when the debit order doesnt go off, i bet for the first time i will get a phone call from them..... do not use webafrica, pure *****, charging me for something they clearly are not delivering as the fibre company has showed me the contract between themselves and webafrica..... not good and i really should lay ***** charges, but LTE has been ordered.... so no going back now and i bet on the last day of this month the speed will still be incorrect anyway... stay away from webafrica, they dont even have a phone number to call. stay far away......
We understand how frustrating and disappointing this must be, especially as you expected a 65/65Mbps service and are currently experiencing lower speeds despite multiple troubleshooting attempts and an open fault already being logged. It is also understandable that the lack of clear updates and ongoing delays has added to your frustration.
We have escalated this matter to our Line Profile Team to review your account and investigate the speed profile being app**** on the line. The team will assess the service configuration against the provisioned package and provide you with feedback via email once their review has been completed.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to send us a direct message on Hello Peter with your details and we will gladly assist.
Warm regards,

As part of this change, you will also benefit from an upgraded line speed.
What this means for you:
- Your package pricing will receive a R40 monthly increase effective from 1 April 2026.
- Your new upgraded speed and service: TT Connect 65/65 Mbps Uncapped Fibre.

We understand how frustrating and confusing this situation must be, especially where there was a clear expectation set in March regarding a speed upgrade alongside the price increase from 1 April 2026, but the current experience does not reflect that change yet.
After reviewing the service details, the price adjustment did take effect from 1 April 2026 as communicated. However, the speed upgrade to 65/65 Mbps is still in the final stages of implementation with the fibre network provider TT Connect and is scheduled to be fully completed by 1 June 2026.
At present, your line remains provisioned at the existing 50/50 Mbps profile while the upgrade is being finalised on the network side, which is why the higher speeds are not yet consistently reflected.
We understand the impact this discrepancy has had and appreciate the patience shown while the network upgrade process is being completed. The relevant teams are monitoring the rollout to ensure the updated speed profile is app**** as planned by 1 June.
If you need any further assistance or would like the account reviewed in more detail, you are welcome to reach out.
