Undisclosed Pro Rata Charge of R130 – Lack of Transparency
an additional charge of R130 that was debited from my account.
At no point during the signup process was I informed of any pro rata billing or additional charges beyond the agreed monthly fee of R549. This extra amount was deducted without any prior disclosure, explanation, or my informed consent.
In terms of the Consumer Protection Act, all charges must be clearly communicated and agreed to upfront. The lack of transparency in this instance is unacceptable and misleading
