Unable to provide Fibre service
Just had the most frustrating dealings with WebAfrica. The simple request was that my Telkom Fibre contract is coming to an end on Friday. This request ended with WebAfrica stating that OpenServe would be unable to install a Fibre line into my home for the foreseeable future! This is nonsensical as I already have a Fibre line into my house and, indeed, have had a 2 Fibre year contract with Telkom since the beginning of 2017. So WebAfrica canceled my application. What a joke - dealing with Telkom has been a breeze in comparison. It brought home in a big way that many of the ISPs floating about SA are *********** and more difficult to deal with than Telkom - and that’s really saying something.
