After a failed 4 month FIBRE application process through SA’s Blue branded telecommunications ( you know who) , I decided to pick up the phone on 15 April 2017 & I contacted WEB AFRICA’s New Services telephone line and was greeted by a friendly & efficient chap. He ran through all the offerings available in my area and all the costs that I would incur. Free modems, free installations. I could hardly believe my ears and thought it might be too good to be true. After accepting the deal that suited my needs and budget and completing minimal paperwork, my application was passed over to their Installation Team and I was promised to be contacted by OPENSERVE for the installation. I was given a date and time of the installation and true to their word the white OPENSERVE van arrived on set date and time. That alone was miracle. I was expecting to be passed from pillar to post during the installation process. The installation took quite some time to complete but this was partly due to the old existing infrastructure of communication poles in my garden and getting fibre line dug underground and re directed to the house. After installation WEBAFRICA sales department called to follow up on the installation and make sure I had all the correct passwords for the modems. They even asked if I wanted a tech savvy guy to come to my house and do the set up for me. What greeat service! Overall, my experience with the WEBAFRICA was positive. I was up and running within minutes of installing it, and the thing is much faster than the old ADSL. My connectively and speed now is super-fast. If you are shopping around for a new FIBRE provided please look no further than WEBAFRICA. You will be pleasantly surprised.
