Title: Cancelled Since March – Still Waiting for My Refund from Webafrica

If I could give **minus stars**, I would.

My frustrating experience with Webafrica started in **January 2026** when I signed up and was charged, yet no service was ever properly delivered.

After endless follow-ups, calls, and WhatsApps, the service was eventually **cancelled**. However, here is the real problem: **months later, I am still waiting for my refund.**

Since **March 2026**, I have repeatedly been told the exact same thing by different agents:

**“Your refund is being processed. Please allow 5 working days.”**

Every single time I follow up for feedback, the process starts all over again. A new agent takes over, apologies, confirms that finance is processing the refund, and promises payment within **5 working days**.

Well, I have apparently been stuck in the same “5 working days” cycle for months.

What makes this even more frustrating is that customers are **not allowed access to the finance department**, meaning there is no accountability and no way to get real answers.

At this point, I am no longer interested in apologies or scripted responses. I simply want what is owed to me.

**Webafrica, please resolve this matter urgently by paying my outstanding refund without any further delays.**

To potential customers: service issues are one thing, but having to chase a refund for months after cancellation is an experience I would not wish on anyone. Happy to share the watsapp responses with the different agent names and ref no for the past 5 months

Hi A,  we can understand why this has become so frustrating, especially after months of repeated follow-ups and receiving the same processing feedback without clear resolution. Having to continuously restart the conversation while waiting on a refund that has already been pending for an extended period would understandably affect your confidence in the process.
We’ve located the account and, as per our records, the refund was already processed, posted, and the case closed.
If there is still no reflection on your side, this would typically relate to bank processing timelines or account posting delays, which may require verification with your banking institution.
Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

This tells me nothing, when was the refund processed? Where is the proof of payment. There was 2 refunds not 1. Which one are you referring to? Webafrica cannot close a case, if the customer has not been satisfied with your actions and response. Therefore the review is on a platform that you have no control over, like those wattsapp messages, custfactoryomers are forced to interact with!

Hi A,
We hear your frustration — especially given the uncer*****y around the refunds, the number of transactions involved, and not having clear proof or timelines. We also understand your concern about the case closure and the overall support experience.
As per our records, a refund of R653.90 was processed. That said, we acknowledge your concern that there may have been more than one refund involved, and at this stage we are not assuming which transactions you are referring to without verification.
We’ve submitted a follow-up to our billing team to:
  •  Confirm the exact refund breakdown and dates processed
  •  Verify whether more than one refund was issued
  •  Provide clarity on proof of payment and transaction references
  •  Reconcile the case history to ensure nothing has been missed
We understand that without this detail, the response feels incomplete, and we’re requesting full confirmation so you receive a clear and accurate breakdown rather than partial information.
Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi A,
We are actively engaging with our Finance Department on this matter. They are reviewing the refund history in detail and will provide you with clear feedback as soon as possible once their verification is complete. This is currently being followed up so that you receive accurate and complete information, rather than further vague responses.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
