Their service is very slow
Their service is very slow. I got my router installed on Monday but it doesn’t work. It’s so frustrating because we pay for these stuff. I tried speaking to vumatel they telling me my line is down and I need to contact webafrica. I’ve been trying to reach them till today I haven’t gottten any response or help. You wait long for the installation then when they finally install there’s server issues. One can’t even work at home because of this

13 May 2026, 09:22Hi Tokologo, we completely understand how frustrating this must feel, especially after waiting for installation and then still not being able to get online when you need it for work. When both the router is installed but there’s no service and you’re being sent between providers, it can quickly become overwhelming and disruptive to your day.In this case, the issue you’ve been told about (“line down”) is something our Vumatel team is already actively working on. When a fibre line shows as down after installation, it usually points to a network-side provisioning or activation fault rather than your router or in-home setup. That’s why support may feel like it’s bouncing between teams, but the resolution sits with the fibre network side, and it’s currently being handled. The focus now is to get your line restored as quickly as possible so you can actually use the service you’re paying for without further delays. While this is being worked on, there’s nothing additional you need to change on your side, the repair/activation process is in progress from the network team’s side.We know this doesn’t remove the frustration of being offline, especially when you rely on it for working from home, but it is actively being addressed and should move toward resolution as soon as the network correction is completed.Warm regards,
