Terrible, I paid my account early just for the team to put my wifi off for the night because they were under the impression I haven’t paid yet. The woman I spoke to, Lethabo M, could not sort out my situation at all from 17:35 till their knock off time which is 20:00. I am supposed to be studying but can’t because of this negligence.

Hi Matt,
Thank you for reaching out and for your patience while working through this. We understand how frustrating and inconvenient it is to lose connectivity unexpectedly, especially when you’ve already made payment and expected your service to continue without interruption. Being left without internet in that moment, particularly when you had plans to study, is not the experience we want you to have.

We’ve checked your account and can confirm that your payment is reflecting correctly and your service has not been suspended. The issue you’re experiencing is likely related to the router configuration, specifically the login credentials required to establish the connection.
To resolve this, please ensure that the correct username and password are configured on your router:

Username: W***@wafibre
Password: (the password that was sent to you via SMS)

You can update this by following these steps:

Connect to your ZTE router via WiFi or LAN cable
Open a browser and go to 192.168.1.1
Log in using:

Username: admin
Password: (check the label on the router)

Navigate to Internet
Select WAN on the left menu
Choose PPPoE
Enter the username and password provided above
Apply the settings and restart the router

Important: If the username is already correct, please retype the password received via SMS to ensure accuracy.

We’ll continue working to ensure your connection is restored and remains stable going forward. Should anything still not work after this, please reach out via direct message on Hello Peter so we can take the next steps with you.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
