STAY AWAY FROM WEBAFRICA

DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH WEB AFRICA!!!!!! On the 23rd of September I called in to drop my line speed from 10mbps to 5mbps, the consultant informed me that this may only be in a effect from end of October due to me calling in on the 23rd but he wasn't 100% sure he said I would get a mail if anything changed. On the 29th of September I got a mail stating that my line speed had indeed been dropped to 5mbps and on the 1st of October I was billed R530 (the amount for 5mbps speed) so I assumed it had gone through and all was correct. On the same phone call I also lodged a complaint that I wasn't getting the correct speeds which the consultant said he could also pick up on his side and he assured me a technician would be in contact to come out & have a look...I am still waiting for that phone call Anyway, end of October, I got a invoice stating that I would be billed R730 (the amount for a 10mbps speed) I was shocked and called in and was told that this was a mistake and that only R530 would be taken off my account, come the 1st of November and R730 was taken off my account, today is the 6th and I am still fighting with Web Africa for my R200 refund, one day I get told yes I will get my refund which will be in my account latest on the 11th and the next day I get told no I am not entitled to R200 refund as I will billed incorrectly on the 1st of October as I still had 10mbps speed in October, then why did I get a mail on the 29th of September stating my line speed had been dropped to a 5mbps?!?! I am now being told I am the one that is not understanding....YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!! Save yourself a lot of back and fourth arguing and stay away from this company. I have now cancelled my service and will be reversing the payment of R730.00 I am sure this is going to turn into a even bigger fight now, but I have given them more than enough time to sort this out, I have sent them all my evidence but in their eyes the customer is never right and we are complete idiots!!
