Slow ineffective service
I spoke to several agents in March already to ensure the correct process for transferring my internet service because of relocation. I followed the process and everything was confirmed on 15 April. I emphasized repeatedly that I needed to be connected by 7th May to be able to commence work from home and was assured that all was in order for this to happen. The process did not include ordering of a new router...NOT ONE OF THE AGENTS TOLD ME THIS OR MADE IT PART OF THE ORDER. Now suddenly Amanda the last agent spoken to says a new Router is needed, it has been ordered and now have to wait 72 hours for delivery. This now makes connection not possible in time for me to commence my work. Furthermore....getting help from your website is an endless cycle of waiting for response for sometimes more than 45 minutes only to be given options by a bot and then going back to the beginning of the process. I am very dissatisfied with this service and I am still waiting for the router and to be connected - it is now the 6th . Furthermore we were told we could connect the TV via a LAN line - this also does not work. To find the Webafrica internet network to add to a device also does not work. Nothing we were told to do by any agent works. The agents also just disappear and do not assist further. I have never missed one payment to your company - but continue to endure very poor or non existent service. I await response and still have no router and no internet connection.
We understand how stressful and disappointing this situation has been, especially after carefully following the relocation process, clearly communicating your work‑from‑home deadline, and then being faced with last‑minute changes that were never explained upfront. This is not the experience we want for our clients, and we recognise the impact this has had on your ability to work and plan.
To clarify the setup: the Zoom ONT currently installed at your premises acts purely as a gateway. Devices are not able to connect directly to it for internet access. Internet access, WiFi visibility, and LAN connectivity for your TV will only be available once the ZTE router is delivered and fully set up. At that point, your devices will be able to detect the WiFi network and connect successfully.
The team responsible for router deliveries is actively working to ensure the ZTE router is delivered as soon as possible, as this is the final requirement to complete the connection.
If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out via a direct message on Hello Peter, and we’ll continue to assist.
Warm regards,

This is a serous situation. I am still waiting for a response. I have paid for this service and now I am being ignored. What must I do to get proper response from Web Africa?
