Shocking Service from Webafrica – No Connectivity, No Communication, No Accountability

I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received from Webafrica.

From 14 March and throughout that entire weekend, I had no WiFi at my apartment. What should have been a relatively straightforward fault resolution turned into a frustrating and unacceptable experience. There was a complete lack of communication and transparency from Webafrica. I received no meaningful updates, no clear timelines, and no sense that the issue was being treated with any urgency. Managing customer expectations appears to be an afterthought, if it is considered at all.

Instead, I was left chasing for answers, only to receive vague responses and no real progress. For a service that is essential for both personal and professional use, this level of neglect is simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, attempting to cancel the service proved just as painful. What should be a simple process became unnecessarily drawn out and laborious, further compounding my frustration.

On top of this, I have now been informed that I am being charged for a full calendar month despite cancelling the service. This is completely unreasonable given the circumstances—particularly considering that I had no service during a critical period and was forced to cancel due to Webafrica’s failure to resolve the issue.

In summary: Extended outage with no resolution over an entire weekend Poor communication and zero proactive updates Lack of accountability or urgency A cancellation process that is unnecessarily difficult Being charged for a full month despite cancelling, even after experiencing service failure

Webafrica has demonstrated a complete disregard for customer experience and fair billing practices. I would strongly caution others before signing up, as reliability, support, and transparency are clearly not priorities.

I expect Webafrica to urgently review their support processes, improve communication, and address unfair billing practices—starting with reversing these unjust charges.
