SHOCKING SERVICE

In October 2017 we got an account with WEBAFRICA. The initial service was great howvever soon it transpired that although reams of document had been sent through things had not been adequately explained.

For example that you would be billed in advance as opposed to arrears like Vodacom etc.

With the first month we were behind with payments and it took a number of e-mails and calls to establish why. By December 2017 everything was squared away and in order.

In spite of money being in my account and available on the 1st December and 1st January I had to make eft payments as debit orders did not go off either through WEBAFRICA presented a debit order for a higher amount or just not presenting at all.

On the 14th January 2018 I received a mail from an agent of theres saying that the debit orders had failed and the system had defaulted me to eft payment and they wanted to revert to debit order.

I phoned in and told them to leave it as eft. Every month from then onwards they were paide timeously by eft and every month without fail by the 8th or so of the month I would get a mail that stated my debit order had failed and they were billing me R50.00. This resulted in mails and calls from me and the matter appearing to be fixed.

It is now June 2018 and inspite of every payment being made on time I am kmow told I owe R167.13.

E-mails and phone calls again and I am told they will listen to a call on their records and come back to me. Whilst waiting for their answer which has taken the better part of a week not to send I get a further mail stating that I am in arrears and must pay with haste.

My advice is stay away from their incompetence and pathetic service.

I am terminating their service and from the 1st July I will charge them R29.00 for storage of their router and make it my personal mission to influence as many people as possible to look for alternative reliable service providers.
