Sending you in circles and you still have to pay!
All goes well until you have a real problem. Shoddy installation lead to obvious vandalism of the line. They simply ran the fibre line from the underground street connection via a bright white PVC pipe through the wall of my property into the house. This created not just an eyesore but an extremely obvious target for street passers to cut open this pipe, thinking there is copper wire inside. So when the inevitable happened and somebody cut the line and the service goes down, I report this to Webafrica. They responded swiftly and came out to investigate - only to tell me that this is "self inflicted damage" and they will only process the repair if I pay for the damage. I counter that the installation of the line left the cable vulnerable to tampering and this is not my problem. I refuse to pay. Webafrica tells me to take it up with Zoom Fibre and then Zoom Fibre tells me it's not their problem and I should take issue with Webafrica... bla bla bla and round we go, getting nowhere.
