Router clawback on a 4yo contract. Once they're in your wallet, they won't leave.
I cancelled my 4y old fiber on Jun 2, got told a full month notice is required - so only cancelled on Aug 1 effectively.
This is just generic corporate nonsense -- takes them 30mins to add you any time of the month, but require full calendar month notice, even if you're 2days late on the call because of some emergency.
My real complaint:
Sept 1, they bill me R1000 for wifi router clawback. After 4 years. It was a 2y contract. I've been trying to connect with them on Whatsapp, their preferred method for communication. I don't get through, and I don't get the promised callbacks either. They have now been ignoring me for 6 days.
I am here to warn any future customer -- they will sign you up in a blink, but getting rid of their service is worse than trying to break up with a crazy girlfriend: They'll milk you for all they can, even *******ly -- and then just ignore you when you complain. And they get away with it because it is too much effort to do anything.
