Poor Service

My fibre cable to the ONT box was damaged, and I reported this fault to WebAfrica immediately. Despite multiple follow-ups via your WhatsApp channel and the WebAfrica app, I have received no meaningful assistance or resolution to date.

As of today, 6 May 2026, I am still without any internet service.

This situation is unacceptable for the following reasons:

I have been without service for over two weeks I have been unable to reach a support agent directly Your digital support channels have not resulted in any progress I have been forced to make alternative arrangements with another ISP to continue working

Hi Seelan,
We understand how frustrating and unacceptable it is to be without internet for such an extended period, especially after reporting the fault promptly and repeatedly following up without seeing progress. Being left without service for over two weeks and having to make alternative arrangements is not the experience we want for our clients.
We’ve reviewed the account and can confirm that the previous fault reference WA*** was closed by Frogfoot with feedback indicating: “We observe link down due to power loss. Please assist by sharing images of the relevant network devices and cabling.” Based on the images you had already provided to our agent, we’ve now logged a new fault under reference WA***, requesting urgency from Frogfoot. Our team has been instructed to closely monitor this fault and keep you updated as it progresses, to ensure it is driven through to resolution.
Your feedback regarding the lack of progress via our digital channels and the impact this has had will be shared with our Service Quality Team for review and improvement. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out via a direct message on Hello Peter, where we can continue assisting.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

I am still not connected and cannot wait any longer.
I have cancelled all services with WebAfrica.
Poor performance should not be rewarded.

Hi Seelan,
We understand how frustrating and overwhelming it is to still be without a connection and to reach a point where you feel you cannot wait any longer. Having ongoing issues with no resolution can be extremely discouraging, and it’s disappointing for us to hear that your experience has led you to cancel your services while the issue remains unresolved. This is not how we want our clients to feel.
We’ve requested our Cancellations Team to reach out to you directly to assist with your cancellation request and to address the concerns linked to the unresolved service issue. The context around the delays and the impact this has had on you has been clearly highlighted so the matter can be handled with the appropriate urgency and care.
If you need any further assistance, you’re welcome to reach out to us again via Hello Peter, and we’ll continue to assist where possible.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

I finally received the help required, and my Fiber is up and running.
It was a pleasure speaking to a person and not a bot at WebAfrica who explained and helped resolve the problem within 1 day. My confidence in WebAfrica is restored.

Hi Seelan,
It’s great to hear your fibre service is now up and running again, and that the support experience helped restore your confidence in Webafrica. After the frustration and delays you experienced beforehand, being able to connect with someone directly who could clearly explain the issue and help get it resolved makes a meaningful difference. We’re glad the matter was turned around and resolved within the day once it reached the right hands.Your feedback will be shared with the team, especially around the value of clear, human support and communication throughout the troubleshooting process.Warm regards,
