Poor Internet service provider. Webafrica tries to be something it's not
I have a 100Mbps pro fibre internet connection with Webafrica.
Not once have I been anywhere near my Internet connection speed. When I query this through Webafrica’s client portal my service tickets get deleted, with no follow-up or explanation as to why my "Effing Fast Internet" is so effing slow.
When I reached out to their support on their Facebook page, they simply delete my public comments and then privately message me to confirm the ticket reference regarding the connection issue.
How can I? When my submitted tickets get deleted by Webafrica. The submitted tickets don’t even get closed, they are just removed without a trace.
What kind of service provider delivers this kind of sub-par service to their paying customers?
I have established that the slow connection problem is not my computer or my wireless connection. I have then contacted Webafrica several times about my slow internet speeds that don't even reach 1mbps at times. And yet, the problem continues.
I have established to my satisfaction that the problem is beyond my control and that Webafrica is not providing the service I am paying for.
If the service I received was remotely reasonable, I would have recommended Webafrica to all my friends, but now I don’t think I ever will. If you cannot guarantee service, I will have to move to another internet service provider.
Please to explain to me what you intend to do about this situation?
I work online, so it is essential that I have Internet that is functional and fast. I hope you respond to the serious nature of my predicament and take adequate steps to ensure my rights as a customer.
Thank you very much for your assistance. Sincerely, Shaheed White
