Poor customer service for deliveries

I have spent the last two days waiting for my LTE Router from Webafrica to be delivered. It finally arrived at 5:40pm today (23 Nov) after I had received a SMS yesterday morning (22 Nov) that it would be delivered between 9am and 5pm that day. I took the day off work yesterday only to not receive delivery, even though I waited until 7pm. When I phoned your team late yesterday to report that I still had not received my router, the first person I spoke to phoned the courier company and told me that it would still arrive that day, and to phone back at 5pm if it had not yet arrived. At 5pm it had not arrived so I phoned back and the other person I spoke to sounded less interested, said "they have to deliver it today even if it's at 7pm" and brushed me off. I waited until 7pm. They did not deliver it.

This morning I received an sms saying that delivery failed yesterday and that it would be delivered today between 9am and 5pm (again). I phoned the couriers myself and they got a little more specific and told me it'd be after 2pm. They also gave no explanation as to why it was not delivered the previous day.

Once it started getting late I phoned your team again hoping that they could help out in some way since this was your choice of courier and your product being delivered to me, your customer.

All your team did was advise me to talk to the courier, which is not the way it should be handled. The courier company's customer service was absolutely ********** and I shouldn't have had to deal with them at all, this should all have been dealt with by Webafrica. I had to waste my airtime phoning their call center to try to ensure I got delivery, and had to take two full days off work to wait for delivery. I hope you rethink your choice of courier company (Ram Couriers) in future, and realise that the responsibility of follow ups for delivery of your product should not be placed on the customer.
