Paying for 1000 / 200 Fibre getting 250 / 250

upgraded my link to 1000 / 200 45 days ago. getting 250 / 250. Support provided a test account and i got 850 / 200. Ive head all kinds of excuses like your equipment is not correct for gigabit (I work in I.T + if i wasnt on gigabit capable equipment i wouldnt get 860 download speed tests on the test account) also getting excuses of theres an issue on my line and its been logged with Vumatel for investigation (at least 5 escalations and no feedback)
