Pathetic service from both the offering as well as Technical Support.

I have received pathetic service from Webafrica.

I signed up with Webafrica's Rain LTE service October last year and after about 5 months of acceptable speed things started going very pear-shaped and hasn't recovered since.

I logged a fault with the helpdesk on the 20th of Feb. received an auto-generated response and then silence for 6 DAYS until I eventually called the call centre only to find that absolutely nothing has been done about it. The agent on the other end of the line (Kurt on this occasion) was very helpful and apologetic and I had high hopes of a quick resolution, but unfortunately not. Kurt went dark from the moment I hung up the phone and after 12 days of unanswered emails, I had to pick up the phone again only to be told that the problem is due to weak signal in the area and was told to which to the Cell C offering. This is after 5 months of the service working fine and zero mention of a weak signal during the signup process. The back and forth continued for days via calls from my side of course and miraculously after a strongly worded email the issue was resolved and I was able to get decent (but not the same) speed again. This came after 27 days of slow speed, so slow speed tests failed. I was told I would be contacted by the finance dept to arrange compensated for my downtime. Neither the call or compensated happened.

Fast forward to present day, well sort of. Last month (June 2018) the issue is back and instead of dealing with Support again I contacted Sales to arrange the switch over to Cell C, I had to pay the delivery fee again but I just wanted a service that worked as it should so I didn't even push back on that. I mention to the consultant that I am switching over because of the poor speed I was receiving on the current offering and was told I would definitely get better performance with the Cell C option as the tower was closer and I therefore would get a better signal. I then went ahead with the switch and receive the Cell C SIM at the beginning of the month and from day one the service is even slower.

Back to my friends at Support I go and log another fault (3 July) even providing them with speed tests. Once again I receive a single email and then silence until today (11 July) when once again I have been forced to contact them to find out the progress of which there was none...again. I was told but the agent on the line in a rather irritated tone that a fault needed to be logged with IS, this 8 DAYS after the fault was originally logged! I requested to speak with a Team Leader or Manager for an explanation as to why clients are being treated this way and not surprisingly said person was in a "meeting" and was told I would get a callback. This was at 2:37 PM, I still await this callback. Meanwhile, the service I'm paying for is non-existent.
