Pathetic service.

I wanted an explanation as to why I'm billed for a monthly connectivity charge and a monthly service charge. It's not possible to get through to the billing department or speak with a person so I used their WhatsApp bot. I started at 11am and was given a message about every half hour to say that an agent will be with me shortly. At 4pm I received a message from a person that an agent would call me shortly. It never happened nor did I ever receive an SMS or an email. Pathetic service.

Hi Myke,
We understand how frustrating this has been, especially when you’re trying to get clarity on your billing and then struggle to reach the right team for assistance. Waiting for hours without a response and not receiving a follow‑up call is not the level of support we aim to provide. Having a clear explanation of your monthly connectivity and service charges is important, and your request for transparency is completely valid. We would like to assist in reviewing this properly and providing you with a clear breakdown of your billing.
To help us investigate this in detail, please send us a direct message on Hello Peter with the invoice number and any specific billing items you are querying. This will allow the relevant team to review the charges accurately and provide you with a detailed explanation.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Dear Webafrica Crew, for the benefit of myself and readers of my above review, all I'm asking is for you to explain why, in addition to your monthly connectivity charge (R589 in my case) you also charge a monthly service agreement charge (R110 in my case). No invoice number required. Simple.

Hi  Myke, Thank you for your message. We understand your request is simply for clarity on the additional monthly service agreement charge. To allow us to respond accurately and confirm the exact breakdown linked to your specific account, we would need to securely verify your profile. Dear Webafrica, the confusion arose because your monthly service is broken down as two separate transactions on my bank statement (Network charge of R589 and service agreement of R110) but only a single transaction of R699) on the invoice. Providing more information on the invoice would be appreciated.
