PATHECTIC SERVICE

After sales service is PATHETIC to say the least. Only support channel is through whatsapp and the average wait time for a respone is 1:30 if you are lucky. And once you get in touch with someone good luck that they will be able to help if not they just transfer you to another department with another 1:30 wait time.

If you have any issues be prepared to struggle for a whole day to get it resolved

Hi Wayne,
We hear your concerns around the delays, repeated transfers, and the time it takes to get meaningful assistance through support channels. That’s not the kind of experience we want you to have when trying to resolve an issue.
Please send us a DM with your account details and a brief description of the query, so we can pick this up directly and assist further from there.
Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Wayne,
We understand how disruptive this has been for you, especially being left without your 1Gbps service over the weekend and having to rely on mobile data to stay connected. That’s not the experience we want for you at all.
We’ve gone ahead and requested our Metrofibre support team to urgently look into your service status and assist with restoring the line as a priority. At the same time, we’re also asking them to investigate what led to the suspension/cancellation, particularly as you’ve advised that this was not requested for this specific service.
Once we receive their feedback, we’ll be able to give you clear answers and advise on the next steps regarding your activation and billing query.
We’ll keep this actively open and push for a resolution as quickly as possible.
Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Hi Wayne,
We understand your frustration, especially after receiving conflicting information around your service. That kind of inconsistency naturally causes confusion and frustration, particularly when you’re trying to get a clear answer.
We’ve now received feedback from the Metrofibre team confirming that the line is currently reflecting as a 100Mbps service on their portal. Could you please confirm whether you are still experiencing speed or connectivity issues on your side at the moment?
Warm regards,

So this means I just have to WAIT again. You guys should rename from WebAfrica to WatingAgain at least then you can keep the logo there seems to be no sense of urgency at all from any of your staff

No one takes repsonsibility even after I have told them I have been transferred to 10 different departments they all just ask their standard script and the initiate a transfer which means another 2 hour wait

 Hi Wayne,
We understand why you’re this frustrated, especially after being transferred repeatedly and having to re-explain the same issue across multiple departments without getting a clear resolution. That kind of experience naturally creates the feeling that nobody is taking ownership of the problem.
Your concern around the lack of urgency and repeated delays has been noted, and we can confirm that the request for direct technical engagement remains in progress so your case can be handled by the appropriate team without further unnecessary transfers.
Warm regards,

I have now had a whole day of being in a transfer loop on their whatsapp "support" line

support-->provisioning-->sales-->support-->provisioning-->sales and so it goes on.

I counted the different agents I have spoken to and I **** you not I am now on agent number 13 and guess what they just did they ****ing transferred me again.

It seems incompetence is the norm

Hi Wayne,
We completely understand how exhausting this has been, being passed from one channel and agent to another without resolution is incredibly frustrating. This is not how support should feel, and it’s certainly not the experience we want any of our clients to have.
We have followed up again with the technical team and specifically requested that the technical callback be treated with urgency, given the repeated transfers and lack of progress you’ve endured. The team has been asked to make direct contact and address the issue properly, without further hand‑offs.
We remain focused on getting this addressed and ensuring you receive proper assistance.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
