Over promise, under deliver & debit without authorisation
<p>I signed up for a web site design and maintenance service with WebAfrica after attending their SMME summit. They promised a speedy website that will be mainteined to appear on Google page 1. After the launch of the website over 2 months ago they promised it will be available with key words searches after a few days. Till today dololo.</p> <p>To rub salt into the wound they kept debiting my card for services I never subscribed to. After several emails an telephone conversations they continued to debit my card. After the bank to block them I was informed that they can't act as its not a debit order as I paid with my bank card when I signed up after the summit. They then use the card details to run amock on your account. I had to cancel the bank card and order a new one. I haven't been refunded and wrote of the unauthorised debits as I will not be giving these wolves my bank account no as well to clean me out with debit orders and start another cycle of problems again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I already moved all my services to another service provider who was shockingly much cheaper yet more efficient with customer service.</p> <p> </p> <p>Unfortunately numerous reseller domains were also moved to my profile. For the sake of these business which are unknown to me I tried numerous times and failed to have them removed from my profile.</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm writing this review to warn other small businesses to stay far away from this company.</p>
