Old Voip phone. Frustrated customer
I bought a Voip cordless phone on WebAfrica online store in August 2023. The phone came without a base station. I bought the base station separate. When I switched the phone on it worked but when I take the phone off the charging point it goes off even during a call. I sent a WhatsApp to webAfrica on 30 August to report the phone as faulty. The technical consultant Babalwa advised that WebAfrica will fetch the phone at my house to have it replaced. 2 consultants promised that I will receive delivery of the new phone within 24 to 48 hours. On 12 September 2023 no one fetched the phone or called. I sent another WhatsApp and Yolanda gave me feedback stating that I need to call a 3rd party as these phones are not replaced by webAfrica but there was no contact details on the box only a serial number. Yolanda gave me the contact number for Nology and advised I should call Nology to fix the phone. Nology fetched the phone and gave me a call advising that this an old phone that was bought in 2018 and no longer have a warrantee. Nology also explained the process that webAfrica must collect the phone from the customer then send it to Nology for repairs. Nology delivered the phone on 24 October by no progress. The phone is still faulty. I must keep the phone at a certain angle to make a call and most of the time it just go off during the call and recharge. What should I do? I'm sitting with a old phone I need it for worrk. Please urgently assist to replace this olf phone urgen. It's not my fault webAfrica sold me an old phone
