Not so seamless transfer as promised
Good Morning Mr. Sean Nourse, the CEO at Webafrica.
I trust you will see my frustration level regarding the pathetic service received from your company.
On 21 April 2021, I requested one of my fibre lines with Webafrica, at Weltevredenpark to be moved to the new premises at Linden. The dates for this move was to stop service at Weltevredenpark on 28 May 2021 and to activate service at Linden on 29 May 2021.
We received prompt email confirmation reply on the cancelling and activation service at the 2 mentioned addresses on 21 April 2021. We were assure that all is in order.
Came Saturday 29 May 2021, Webafrica really shone in their absence. Furthermore, after hours and over weekends and public holidays, your offices do not exist. The Whatsapp service is on but completely useless.
So, came Monday 31 May 2021 and after huge amounts of explaining to different persons, the activation was still not done. Come Tuesday 1 June 2021, still no connection. Many calls later I linked up with Jameson and also Melissa. Eventually Melissa took point and tried to solve the issue, but still today at 16H00 the activation not done yet.
I then tried to get a senior person, a manager, a departmental head, a regional manager, even your contact detail. But it is useless and like trying to get ice in the middle of the Sahara desert. It seems your company is trying to protect you and your management team for some odd reason.
I then checked on Hellopeter. WOW. What a disgrace. And now I understand the reason the sales line persons, technical support, and both Jameson and Melissa whom I eventual got their emails, tried to keep your paying customers from speaking to any sort of management. Do you realise that as of this morning there were 5028 reviews about Webafrica on Hellopeter.com. Obviously you would not know, as your company do not reply at all on those complaints.
But I digress. Out of the 5028 reviews, oh pardon me, it is now 5036, 4255 reviews, 84%, are bitter complaints with 1 out of 5 stars for Webafrica. I checked these complaints, not all but many of them are about either relocation, billing, bad customer service, and connection issues.
Webafrica is ranked on Hellopeter.com as minus 90 (-90) on the netpromotor score, as 1,6 out of 10 on the trustindex, and ranked number 51 in the ISP section. That is an ********** score.
My service was supposed to have been seamless, disconnecting on 28 May (which by the way happened at 14H00 already on the 28th), reconnecting on 29 may and come 2 June 2021, 5 days later, we are still not connected.
Sean, I am the last person to tell you how to run your company, but my goodness man, get a grip on this pathetic service situation.
I would like to hear your take on this. And please, do go and check Hellopeter.com to see how very bad your company is treating its paying customers.
Regards
