NO Technical Support after paying a fortuner per month.

I have been having problems with the speed and connection of my fiber for months, and have sent numerous messages without receiving any service. The "live chat" on both "online" and my "app" is totally useless, and you don't get ANY response from it. I am paying for 500/200 and getting under 50 Mbps. As soon as more than one device is used, we lose connection. I think for the amount of money a person pays per month, they should receive decent service. This has been going on for months.

Hi  Louanne. We completely understand how frustrating it is to experience slow speeds and unstable connectivity over such a long period, especially when you’re paying for premium fibre service. Being left without timely support only adds to the frustration, and you should be able to rely on the speeds you’ve subscribed to. We’ve arranged for a tech support callback to troubleshoot your connection and work out the best way forward for your fibre performance. This will ensure that your service is assessed properly, any issues are addressed, and you get the speeds you’re paying for. While the team works on this, a few tips can help improve stability:
  • Router placement: Keep your router in a central, elevated spot away from walls or metal objects.
  • Device load: Too many devices streaming or downloading simultaneously can reduce speeds.
  • WiFi interference: Avoid placing your router near microwaves or cordless phones.
Your experience is our priority, and we are committed to ensuring your fibre connection works reliably. Please feel free to reach out via private message for any further support or discussions.

Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Thank you for your feedback. I will wait for the Tech to get back to me. As for your tips, here are my responses. The router is exactly where they put it when they installed it; secondly, the device cannot be an issue, because at MOST it is three devices, which should not affect speed from 500 Mbps to under 50 Mbps. And then WiFi interference, it is not close to any kind of interference, either microwave or cordless phones.

It has been a week now since my last review, and NOTHING has been changed. Yes, I have received one phone call and responses on this Review, but the connection speed I pay for has still not been corrected. There is a massive difference between 500/200 Mbps and only getting between 50-70 Mbps.

Hi Louanne, thank you for your update, we understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you’re paying for a 500/200 Mbps service and receiving significantly lower speeds. We’ve noted that this has been ongoing despite previous contact, and that gap between expected and actual performance is not acceptable. We will follow up on your case to ensure it’s properly investigated and that you receive clear feedback on what’s causing the speed issue and how it will be resolved. Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

It has been more than a month since I complained about the speed and connection of my fiber, and it still has NOT been resolved. This is what you call service. Once again, I want someone in management to contact me to cancel this service, since Webafrica is unwilling or unable to help me.

Hi Louanne, We hear your frustration, especially as this has been ongoing for over a month with no clear resolution and your service still not performing as expected. We also understand your request to speak to management and your concerns around wanting to cancel due to the continued experience. We have now submitted a follow-up on your case again, and it has been re-escalated for urgent attention so that the speed and connectivity issue is properly reviewed and feedback can be provided. The concerns you’ve raised regarding performance and your cancellation request have been included in this escalation. Warm regards,
