No Support or Services

This rating should actually be -10 Stars. I already starting to regret that I have signed up with WebAfrica, because the waiting times on the support is ridiculous. 24 hours on facebook no support, whatsapp no support, on their website no support. I have placed my order last week, already made 2 payments, but can not access services i paid for. Vuma already did a installation last week, but still can't access anything, as i didn't receive my router from Webafrica yet.

Hi Malcolm,
We understand how frustrating and unacceptable this experience feels, especially after placing your order, making multiple payments, and still being unable to access the service you’ve paid for. Waiting without clear support or equipment, particularly as a new customer, is not the experience we want for our clients.
We’ve checked your order and can confirm that the router was handed over to the courier on 4 May. Once a handover takes place, the courier will make contact within 72 hours to arrange delivery. As soon as the router is delivered and set up, you’ll be able to connect successfully and access the service. Please be assured that the team handling router deliveries is actively working to ensure the process goes smoothly and without further delays.
If you need further assistance, you’re welcome to reach out via a private message on Hello Peter, and we’ll continue supporting you.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Why was the router not ordered, when i initially signed up and paid? The router was not collected on the 4th, if was only collected today 06/05/2025 at 11:31? This is poor service, with previous Internet service provider, I already had my router delivered, before the initial fibre installation was done. Am I getting a credit for these days that I have already paid for without any services?

 Hi  Malcolm.

The delay and lack of alignment in timing are not the experience we aim to provide, and we appreciate you raising this with us.We have reached out directly to the team that handles all hardware logistics to review your order timeline in detail. We have also requested that they send you an SMS with the waybill reference so you can track the delivery in real time and have full visibility going forward. In terms of the service period, we completely understand your concern about being billed without being able to use the service. This will be reviewed as part of your case to determine the appropriate outcome as soon as the service is fully operational.

Our focus now is to ensure your router is delivered as quickly as possible, provide clear communication on the status, and resolve any billing concerns fairly. We’ll continue to be here for you to make sure everything is properly addressed for you.

 Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew

Received my router more than a week later (today). Open the package, Wow!! they send me a router that is not even capable of broadcasting the speed that I have signed up for.. As a service provider, I'm sure you should at least know what router is capable with the speed that was order.. This is really ***********

I have received a Zyxel EMG3525-T50B (Max extreme speed 867Mbps), please note that this 867 Mbps per seconds you you rarely get, as it is maxed out. I was suppose to get a ZTE H3601P (±2402 Mbps) router that is more than capable of reaching the speeds that I am suppose to get and paid for. If this issue is not getting resolved within the next 14days, then I will report Webafrica to ISPA and ICASA

Hi Malcolm ,
We understand how disappointing it is to wait for your router only to find that it does not appear to match the speed of the service you signed up for. That frustration is completely valid, especially when you were expecting everything to be ready and aligned from the start.
We’ve requested for our Onboarding Team to reach out to you directly to review the router provided and assist with the configuration, as well as confirm compatibility with your selected package. The team will guide you through the next steps and ensure the setup is aligned correctly with your service.
Warm regards,
Webafrica Crew
