No Service, No Support, No Refund — Absolutely Disgusting Experience with WebAfrica

**HelloPeter Complaint – WebAfrica**

I am extremely frustrated with the service I have received from WebAfrica and feel compelled to share my experience.

In mid-January, I placed an order for a fibre connection with WebAfrica. Within a week, the installation was completed, and shortly thereafter I received notifications from both WebAfrica and Vuma confirming that the line was active. However, despite this, I had **no internet connection**.

I contacted WebAfrica via their WhatsApp support channel (the only available method of communication) and went through extensive troubleshooting. When this did not resolve the issue, the matter was escalated to technicians. Over the next two weeks:

* Multiple troubleshooting sessions were repeated daily with different agents * Approximately four technicians were sent out to “reactivate” the line * The ONT box was replaced * The line was repeatedly confirmed as active

Yet, I **never once had a working Wi-Fi connection**.

Despite this, WebAfrica:

* Charged me an initial fee for the router and ONT delivery * Debited my monthly subscription **before the agreed date** * Continued billing while I had **zero service**

After two weeks of this, I cancelled the line and formally requested a refund. It has now been about a week, and I still have not received my refund.

Every day I follow up on WhatsApp and am told it will take “3–5 working days.” When I followed up again on Friday, 6 February, two agents stopped responding to me entirely after I explained my query.

This has been an incredibly disappointing and exhausting experience:

* No working fibre line * No accountability * No access to a manager or escalation point * No refund

I would like urgent assistance from someone at WebAfrica who can actually resolve this matter, as the WhatsApp support channel has proven completely ineffective.

This level of service is unacceptable.
