No resolution of a fault for over a week.

On Friday 3 April I reported intermittent connectivity on my account. The call center agent informed me the problem lay with Telkom. Later I called Telkom and tested my line with their guest account without any problem. Upon calling Web Africa back I was informed that their Internet Backbone had allocated too few ports for the number of customers. So, in other words, we are paying for a connection Web Africa does not have to sell.
I was informed that the problem would only be resolved on Tuesday the following week.

That week, Wednesday, I still had my connectivity problem. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was informed I would have to wait for one to call me back, \in an hour

Hello EnchanterG,

We're sorry for the lengthy time it took to resolve this issue.

As per feedback provided, our guys have been in touch with you telephonically and via the ticket system to keep you in the loop regarding your intermittent line. They logged a line fault with Telkom and followed up with them and it has been reported that your line has been stable for some time now - after the Telkom technician has worked on the line.

We hope that this matter has been resolved and we would like to encourage you to update this post to reflect this resolution offered. If you this issue persists, lease give us a call.

Regards
Mkhululi
