Mid month Cancellation without refund

I made the decision to switch from Webafrica to a new ISP and submitted my cancellation request and received confirmation that my services would be cancelled at the end of May 2018. On the 17th of May 2018 I arrived home with no connectivity. So my services were cancelled prematurely. That same evening I logged a support ticket that I had no connectivity.

Their support staff responded:

"Good Evening Guillaume Nel, I hope mye -mail finds you well.

I have checked your account and see that your service has been cancelled as requested. This is the reason for no connection.

Thank you for your patience. Kind Regards,

The Webafrica Team" Obviously my services were prematurely cancelled and they acknowledged this fact. I rep**** that the cancellation should only be effective at the end of May to which the reply was:

18/05/2018 08:56

"Hi Guillaume,

Thank you for the response.

I checked and see that the service is indeed cancelled on the back end.

I will escalate for immediate cancellation on our end and the difference back to you ASAP.

Best regards,

Gary"

I asked for feedback regarding my refund later that afternoon on the 18th of May to which they only responded on the 22nd of May.

"Hi Guillaume,

Thank you for your response.

I apologise for the delayed feedback.

I have escalated with the finance team and should have feedback today.

Best regards,

Gary"

I asked for feedback again on the 24th of May, 30th of May and the 5th of June without any response.

They stole from me and rather than resolving the issue decide to keep quiet and hope the issue goes away. Terrible service and customer service.
