Location restricted LTE router

I have just purchased a LTE router and Mtn LTE package. I have now just received the router and been informed that it is location locked, for my current address only. I just spent R1000 on an LTE router as it's supposed to be portable, plug in and play. Why would I possibly buy a LTE router if it's not portable when I can get free installation fiber at my that address ( for 12 months) No where did it state the the LTE router is not portable and location locked.

I have been on the phone for a long time and still have to joy.

This is not acceptable.
