Line still not released after 38 days with no internet

It has now been 8 days since Webafrica’s last response on this complaint and I have received absolutely no communication from them despite their public commitment to provide feedback once their review was completed.

To date:

• No update has been provided regarding the investigation. • No explanation has been provided regarding the R885 billing. • No confirmation has been provided regarding the cancellation status. • No confirmation has been provided regarding the release of the fibre line. • The line remains unreleased, preventing me from moving to another provider.

Webafrica acknowledged that I received conflicting information from multiple agents regarding activation, billing, cancellation and line release, yet after 8 days they have still failed to provide a single clear answer to any of these issues and release the line.

It now seems like they are standing on their initial position of not releasing the line until the 1st of July for absolutely no reason.

I have now been without a resolution for over a month and remain unable to proceed with an alternative ISP because the line has still not been released.

At this stage, the lack of communication and failure to release the line within 5 days as previously communicated is unacceptable and has forced me to continue with the case with ICASA.

I request immediate line has been released.

If Webafrica contends that the service was ever activated and, if so, proof thereof.

I will continue to document all delays and contradictory information received throughout this process.

Hi Nombulelo, we hear the frustration in your message, especially around the lack of updates, ongoing billing concerns, and the delay in releasing the fibre line. Being unable to move to another provider while waiting for resolution is understandably impacting your ability to restore service, and we understand how difficult this situation has been for you.As per the latest update on your account, the fibre line has now been released. This means the line is no longer tied to your service and should be available for activation with another provider, subject to their provisioning process. We note your concerns regarding billing, cancellation status, and prior communication gaps. These points remain part of the account record and should be reviewed in line with the finalisation of your service closure process.Warm regards,
 Webafrica Crew

Web Africa, why are you still trying to bill my account?

Why are you sending me threatening emails to be handed over to debt councillors? What the **** IS HAPPENING WITH YOU ****ERS??

MY line was never active, you agreed and came to an agreement to release the line and evoke any cancellation payments but now you are still trying to bill my account! Threatening me with Debt councillors???

I need this to STOP as soon as possible
